Volunteer trainers are greatly needed in the following fields to train Russian professionals how to develop support programs for children and families:

  • child psychology
  • neurology
  • occupational therapy
  • pediatrics
  • physical therapy
  • special education
  • speech therapy

 

Volunteers must have 10 to 15 years of experience in clinical work, early intervention, training practitioners, supervision, and work with families. Willingness and ability to travel is required, as volunteers will spend one to two weeks in Russia.

Digital or Film Volunteers
Firefly is seeking volunteers with film-making, videography and/or digital media and writing skills to help with running a social media campaign to build awareness around its work and creating an online library of training films for Russian child welfare professionals.
